Alison began indoor cycling over 14 years ago and has been hooked ever since. She grew up around health and fitness, staying active through sports such as figure skating, horseback riding, running, and weight training. After attending George Washington University where she earned a degree in business, Alison enrolled in graduate school at NYU to further her education in clinical nutrition. She soon completed her certification in holistic health counseling and became an indoor cycling instructor. But it wasn’t until attending Ruth’s cycling class seven years ago that Alison first discovered a more efficient and fun way to work out on a bike.
Alison’s real passion is being around a group of people who leave all judgments behind and come together for 45 minutes as one force of energy. True to Ruth’s training philosophy, Alison’s goal is to empower her riders to achieve and surpass their personal goals through dedication, high-energy music, positive reinforcement and boundless enthusiasm.
Alison is a native New Yorker who enjoys spending time with her dog, Oliver Oats, listening to great music, traveling, hiking, and maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.
