Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Carrie graduated McGill University with an Honors English Degree and came to New York in 1999 where she attended Cardozo Law School. She got hooked on indoor cycling in between studying, sometimes taking up to three classes a day.
In 2008, Carrie traded in her suit for a chef’s hat, leaving corporate litigation and fulfilling a lifelong dream of attending culinary school. But Carrie still wasn’t satisfied and needed one more challenge. So that same year, she stepped up from the first row of New York cycling studios and became an instructor. Carrie rocks it out to an eclectic mix of music and pours all her energy into each ride.
A mom for the first time this February, she was in Ruth’s class just days before she gave birth and returned to teaching just six weeks after having a baby boy! Can we say: “obsessed?”
On the side, Carrie is an accomplished equestrian having competed in numerous horse shows, including the Hampton Classic. You can often find her on Long Island training with her beloved horse, Magnum P.I. (aka “Pi”).
