Originally from Iowa, Erin brings a Midwest "salt of the earth" flavor to her approach in both life and teaching. After graduating from The Boston Conservatory of Music with a B.F.A. in Theater/Dance, she studied Movement Analysis at the Integrated Movement Studies certificate program in San Francisco. While in California, she continued studies of yoga, pilates, body mind centering, and rehabilitative sports/dance medicine.
Life brought her back to the Heartland, where she spent six years in Chicago. She earned her first Yoga Certification and her Equity card, and was extremely fortunate to perform in featured roles and as Dance Captain for numerous professional Chicago productions. She also choreographed for the Chicago Academy of the Arts, taught yoga, and worked as assistant choreographer/director.
In February 2011 Erin landed in New York where she inspires and facilitates her fitness clients to explore their greatest capacity with humor, humility, and curiosity. She believes “whatever it is we choose to do for our bodies, let it bring both strength and joy!
